Let’s face your wilderness together with compassion, courage and clarity
Integrating experiences of Trauma, Moral Injury and Grief
Welcome. I’m Dr. Jaimie Lusk—a clinical psychologist, consultant, and fellow explorer of the depths of human experience. I specialize in guiding high-performing, sometimes reluctant or ambivalent adventurers through trauma, moral injury, and grief, using a blend of evidence-based methods, imaginative exploration, and spiritual discovery.
Alongside individual and couples therapy, I offer Wild Therapy—immersive, nature-based sessions designed to unlock transformation where traditional approaches stall. My approach is direct, playful, and deeply relational. I’m not afraid to go with you into the most feared, avoided, and even "creepy" caves of the psyche—those hard-to-reach places where real change happens. Sessions are efficient, tailored, and infused with “battle buddy” energy, making the work purposeful and surprisingly engaging.
My mission is to create a space where you feel safe enough to go deep, laugh when needed, and discover new ways of being. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll explore hard truths, honor your story, and help you return to life with renewed vitality and genuine connection.

Integration Through Partnership, Nature, and Evidence-Based Care
I work best with people who are looking for an active, imaginative partnership as we venture into the depths, slay some dragons, and uncover some treasure. We’ll draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Processing Therapy and ACT, while also tapping into creative exploration and spiritual insight to illuminate the places you have been avoiding.
Whether you’re wrestling with trauma, moral injury, grief, or the aftermath of betrayal, I’ll meet you with directness, humor, and genuine partnership. Our sessions are efficient, purposeful, and infused with a spirit of adventure. Healing is relational: together, we’ll face hard truths, experiment with new ways of being, and discover strengths you didn’t know you had.
Your story is honored here. Your defenses are respected, but not coddled. My commitment is to help you integrate what’s been fragmented, reconnect with your own vitality, and return to life with renewed purpose. You don’t have to do this alone—and you don’t have to settle for ordinary therapy. If you’re ready to go deep, I’m ready to go with you.
